For much of his career, John led safety at electric power generation facilities. That meant nuclear, coal, oil, gas, and hydroelectric plants, places where one wrong move can cost a life and human factors decide success. He knows what real pressure looks like. In recent years he has advised names people know, including Elliott Company, a global metal manufacturer, along with Long Ridge Gas Power Generation, Duke Florida Power, and the regional grocery chain Giant Eagle.

People turn to John when they want honest answers on safety, human performance, and how to make an organization better. So he built something of his own. His company, Safety Performance, now provides consulting to a large global metal manufacturer. The goal has not changed a bit: safer job sites, stronger leaders, and workplaces that care about people just as much as results.

There is more to John than the job, though. He has spent years coaching girls’ softball, from tournament teams all the way to college athletics, mentoring young athletes and supporting their growth on and off the field. He also gave back closer to home, serving as a Safety Officer with the local fire department and as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Beaver Borough, roles that reflect his lifelong dedication to public safety and service.
